Housing System Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Housing Quality Team based within the Families and Homes Directorate.

As the housing system co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the support and ongoing administration of the Housing systems in use, maintaining security of access; ensuring staffs are trained to make effective and efficient use of the Housing Management IT Systems.  You will assist in the development and production of accurate and auditable reports for management.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, a good understanding of the housing management system that we use – Northgate, oral communication and ICT skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex legislation and guidance in line with the IT requirements, to a variety of audiences, and to make clear, consistent decisions. Work under pressure; to manage and prioritise a high workload and to adhere to tight deadlines.
