Vacancy Description

Waltham Forest 0-18 Early Help service is recruiting a Sessional Worker to support the Young Carers club delivery team.

The project offers a number of respite activities and opportunities for Young Carers and their families. This includes regular club sessions, offsite activities, residential trips, workshops, accredited learning and development opportunities.

The sessional worker will be required to support the club delivery team and the youth worker in charge. This will include assisting in collecting young carers from their homes and returning them to their homes after a session has been facilitated (transport and driver provided). The sessional worker will be required to deliver sessions, supervise young carers, prepare light snacks and refreshments and lead groups. They will be required to support the youth worker in charge as and when required.

Additional work and hours may be available during term holidays and summer holidays.
