Vacancy Description

Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service operates across Waltham Forest with three main sites and many community venues. This is an exciting time to be joining the service as we are expanding our apprenticeship offer to meet levy targets. The Adult Learning Service was graded ‘Good’ at the June 2016 inspection. We are actively seeking qualified and occupationally competent individuals to join the Apprenticeship lecturing team.  Hours will be variable depending on the standards you can deliver and assess.

Part-time lecturing opportunities to deliver the following Apprenticeship frameworks and standards:  

  • Operations Departmental Manager apprenticeship level 5
  • Team Leader Supervisor apprenticeship level 3
  • Business Administration apprenticeship level 3
  • School Business Professional level 3
  • Supporting teaching and learning in schools level 3

You will be a person with professional integrity and commitment to maintain and deliver the highest quality standards and customer experience for all stakeholders. You will have substantial sector specific industry experience, teaching or assessment qualifications and recent experience in either of these roles. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be highly organised and have a flexible approach to working hours and environments. Good IT skills, an understanding of the need for confidentiality and a willingness to promote equal opportunities are essential for this role.
