Vacancy Description

An essential requirement is having experience in working with community groups, a professional qualification in an Environmental science, and the skills required in obtaining funding for Park’s projects.

Be able to provide detailed reports to senior managers within the remit of the role. Identify income generating opportunities throughout all our Park’s.

  1. Deliver a specialist aspect of service delivery, which engages customers / stakeholders and enables them to make effective use of the service.
  2. Numeracy and literacy qualification e.g. GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  3. Full UK driving licence and use of own transport for Council business
  4. Have a qualification in an Environment Science,       a minimum of level 3 or other professional qualification
  5. Experience of managing community events which may involve attending Ward Forums and out of hour’s meetings
  6. Ability to prepare bids and bid for external funding
  7. Good communication skills and ability to present at public meetings
  8. Generate income for Parks.
  9. Develop good working relationships, develop community links and communicate effectively with internal / external organisations / partners and stakeholders. Represent specialist area internally and / or externally.
  10. Customer requirements are identified and documented.
  11. Improvement opportunities are identified and recommended.
