Strategy & Development Officer

Are you passionate about the role than local government can play in supporting children, young people and families?

The London Borough of Waltham Forest is looking to appoint a Strategy & Development Officer in the Children’s Social Care division.

The role will involve working closely with the Assistant Directors across the division enabling the organisation to achieve implement and embed improvements and ultimately deliver better outcomes for children, young people and families.  

The successful candidate will work to the Assistant Director, Quality Assurance and be responsible for successfully delivering on a range of innovations & development projects. Excellent understanding of the political, policy, social and economic  issues relating to Children’s Social Care and a minimum of 2 year’s experience of working in children’s social care or a related environment are amongst the essential knowledge, skills and experience outlined in the role profile.
