Our Management Committee is looking to appoint an outstanding Headteacher, with a proven track record who inspires a passion for learning!
Hawkswood Primary PRU and SEMH Provision is a complex school that offers high quality education to children aged 4-11 with a high level of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs that make it difficult for them to cope in mainstream schools. Children are referred from every primary school/academy in the London Borough of Waltham Forest because they are at risk of permanent exclusion. The majority of pupils attend the school for a short period of intervention before returning to mainstream education. A smaller group of KS2 pupils have an EHC Plan and attend the school for longer in accordance with their additional needs.
Ofsted graded us outstanding in 2015.
Our dynamic team act as exemplary role models, educating and nurturing each child, enabling them to make good academic progress and return to mainstream school.
The school is a brand new purpose built building located in on the very edge of Epping Forest.
