If you want to be at the forefront of school admission policy and practices, then come join a pioneering Local Authority implementing a new commissioning approach to school admissions.

At Waltham Forest, with its mixed economy of schools and a unique environment, you will have to use all your skills, experience and expertise to commission, monitor and standardise a school admissions service, provided by the trading arm, that meets the exacting and demanding standards of Heads, Parents, Politicians and admission staff.

The role includes:

  •  Being responsible for all School admissions provision.
  • Commissioning a school admissions service

    using the Authority’s own trading arm.

  • Meeting all statutory requirements.

  • Liaising and influencing with stakeholders

    including Head Teachers, Parents and Members.

  • Managing a small team directly.
