Senior Registration Officer X3  - One Year fixed term contract


 This is an exciting opportunity to join Waltham Forest Registrars Service, which provides a range of services including birth, death, marriage, civil partnerships, citizenship and nationality checking services.  The Senior Registration Officer will be responsible for registration of births, deaths, taking Notice of Marriage and Civil Partnerships (CPs), conducting Statutory and non-Statutory Ceremonies and to maximise income generation in line with the statutory framework delivering an excellent service to its users to agreed service standards. We are currently going through a transformation revamping our booking system and website to increase our services and income.

 The Senior Registration Officer will be based within one of the teams within the Registration services, Ceremonies or Births and Deaths, who will deputise for the Team Leader and support other areas within registration services as required. The work week for this contract is expected to be Tuesday to Saturday with flexibility for in working evenings, Monday and Sunday. Previous registration experience is required and you will be expected to pass an enhanced DBS check.
