Development and Investment Project Officer

Reporting to the Development and Regeneration Partnership Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the successful delivery of affordable housing projects to meet housing needs in Waltham Forest. Working alongside a range of internal and external partners and stakeholders you will help deliver housing projects to meet the Council’s strategic objectives and undertake associated consultation and project management activities.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of project and programme management and development related services to facilitate the provision of new affordable housing in the borough.   This will  include co-ordinating the delivery of new affordable housing development schemes in the borough from initiation to completion including site identification, feasibility and viability assessments and evaluations, design, planning, funding, construction and lettings/sales.  You will co-ordinate effective resident and stakeholder consultation to support housing development projects in the borough.

You will be an effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with and establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders including community stakeholders and residents.
