Vacancy Description

Peripatetic Instrumental Music Teacher

The service seeks to appoint inspirational, committed instrumental/vocal teachers to teach in the borough’s schools. The service is keen to receive applications from those who teach any instrument.

Candidates must be able to motivate students and ensure good progression. Ability to teach individuals and direct small and large-scale groups is essential. The service is particularly keen to hear from dynamic, effective and committed conductors who can ensure children progress in Music School groups.

Pay is in the range of £20 to £30 per hour, with the maximum grade being UQT 6 

You will be joining a pool of sessional teachers and therefore teaching hours are not guaranteed.
